Kolb Still in Control

Quarterback John Skelton practiced this week for the Cards, but on a very limited basis.  Thursday Skelton got in some reps, however he is no where near being ready to get back onto the field to take playing time away from Kevin Kolb.  Coach Ken Whisenhunt stated “We got to see if he’s able to handle a practice before we can make any kind of decision like that.  This is the first step in it.  We’ll see how it progresses.”  So for the time being Kolb is still in control of the quarterback position.  This coming week he takes on his former team, the Eagles.  Hopefully Kolb can capture some of the magic that he found when he played for Philly a few seasons ago.  If he could recapture the old form that led to the Cards giving him that big contract then the Cardinals will continue to get better
