Is There a Solution in the Near Future?

There are rumors coming from Cardinals camp that head coach Ken Whisenhunt will make a decision on whom the starting quarterback will be for the regular season sometime this week.  Although the competition between Kolb and Skelton has been very close during the preseason games, there is a belief that Skelton is the frontrunner for the starting job.  Skelton has been far superior in practices and is favored in the locker room as well.  Regardless of who wins the starting job, the backup is sure to see playing time if the other is to stumble even the slightest bit.  With a resolution finally in sight there will finally be a sense of relief within the team to know who their starter will be.  However, it is hard to envision a situation where Skelton is not given a chance to have first cracks as the starter.
